ZEEBRUGGE LANDING
TABLET UNVEILED

A tablet on the mole at Zeebrugge, commemorating St. George’s Day historic landing in 1918, was unveiled by Prince Charles, .second son of King Albert. The ceremony was attended by several of the landing, including Carpenter, of the' Vindictive, Belgian .authorities, and the Duke of Northumberland. 1 ' One noteworthy person present was Mrs Gibbs, mother of commander Gibbs, of the Iris, who remained at his post, although, both legs were blown off by., a ,G ; erman shell.
