REFERENDA BILLS PASSED (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) MELBOURNE, June 25. The Senate passed the Referenda Bills. OPPOSITION BY WORKERS MELBOURNE. This Day. The Commonwealth Council of Federated Unions agreed to support the referendum proposals. The Australian Workers' Union has taken the lead in an anti-referendum campaign and has prepared voluminous pamphlets which tire being distributed.
