RESCUE OF A RESCUER
WOMAN'S LONG FLOAT NEW YORK. June 12 Two amazing rescues have been effected in the Atlantic. Yesterday Eva Bohman, while surfing at Miami I'Sc.ich, Florida, was observed to go to file assistance of a struggling man. She disappeared, but to-day a, steamer 40 miles away picked her up. She cxphined that she was seized with tramps when near the drowning man and, seeing that he bad been rescued, she allowed herself to float until she was too far from the shore to return. She remained fkwiting until she was rescued. Two fishermen from the schooner Sylvania disappeared five days ago. They were picked up by a passing steamer and brought into St. John's, •Newfoundland.
