Everything is now in order for resumption of work by the miners tomorrow. Striking enginedrivers and firemen; numbering 1000, returned on Friday and Saturday to prepare the mines. Efforts are being'made to settle the several sectional disputes which were in existence bdfore the general strike began. Hie trouble at Coal cliff over wages, which has been in existence since the beginning of the year, has been settled. A. hitch occurred in the South Maitland field over the conditions of work. With the mines resuming the question of relief orders for unemployed will cease to be the big matter it at present is with the Police Repayment. During the past few weeks the average number of orders issued per week lias been 400. tile value of each ranging from 6s 6d to 31s 6d. It is expected claims will be made .till the first pay is received. The shipping companies are making preparations to resume time tables, which have been disorganised by (%;e shortage of coal.
