In the women’s athletic chainpioynships at Stanford Bridge, Miss Crossley won the half-mile walk in 4mins 6secs., a record. W. F. Baker won the walk from Croydon to Brighton,and back, 104 i miles, in 18 hours 5 mins, -51 secs., a record.
