LONDON June 17
At golf, in the southern section of the second round, Bobby Jones did 68, with an aggregate of 154. The newspaper Star describes Bobbie Jones’s play as the finest exhibition of golf in the whole history of the fchampionship. It was a magnificent example of unison of the head, heart and hands.
The Evening News declares he is super-perfect. It could not recall an other competition in which an amateur in 32 holes returned only one five. LONDON, June 18.
Mitchell and Hagen, in a |5500 challenge match of 72 holes, are all square at the ninth.
