CONGRATULATIONS TO LEADER

WELLINGTON, This Day Tin? Reform Party sat in caucus last night and the chief whip Mr J. S. Dickesn, later issued a statement that the following .resolutions were unanimously approved by the members present:— “That this meeting of members of the Government Party in the House of Representatives, desires to extend to 'lie Prime Minister its heartiest congratulations on the splendid victory achieved at the General Election, which was largely due to the sound and progressive policy upon which the country was asked 10 pronounce its verdict and also to the able manner in which the policy was expounded by the Prime Minister.
.(2) ‘ That the meeting further desires 10 express its complete confidence, in the Prime Minister rind the (iovernment and pledges itself to assist in the fullest degree, the passing of various policy measures designed to give effect to the platform of tin- party.”'
