Major Charles-Argle Eaton, a farmer of Masterton, was recently respondent in a divorce action brought by his wife on account of alleged misconduct with a girl named Marley employed in the house. Owing to the proved unreliability of the girl's evidence tint petition was withdrawn in middle of the hearing. To-day Katon again appeared before Mr Justice Muefiregor as petitioner for /restitution of tiprtjugal rights owing to failure to arrive at a reconciliation with his wife. The petition was not opposed and was granted.
