TAHUNANUI TOWN BOARD

At the ordinary meeting of the Tahunanui Town Board there were present: Messrs W. Carter (acting chairman), A. Stewart, C. P. Stannard L. Ingham, M, O’Sullivan, F. A. Bamford. Correspondence was -received: —_ From the Tahuna Sands. Association, inviting- the Board to elect one official representative to sit on the executive, recognising 1 as they do, that the aims and objects- of the - Tahuna Sands Asso--ciation will be greatly assisted by coordination with the Board., From-the City Engineer, asking the Board to extend the night service to the conveniences (waiting room), Sands Reserve, and asking the Board if they could recommend anyone who would undertake to look after the conveniences and keep them clean. (From the Waimea Electric Supply Company, advising the Board that the brackets are being made and the ne- . cesary- cable and insulators are ordered, and the Start on the new ‘ street lights will commence very shortly. Resolved (A. Stewart—o. P. Stan;‘nard),Vthat the Austin junior', grader as recommended by the Engineer be purchased. - / Resolved (0. P. Stannard—F. A. Bamford), that Mr O’Sullivan be appointed representative of the Tahunanui’Town Board on the executive of the Tahuna Sands Association. ''Resolved)(C. P, Stannard—A. Stewart), 'that the Nelson City Council be advised that the night service has been ;, etxended to the conveniences at wait- > ing-robm, .
