GISBORNE, June 14, ' A resolution passed recently by the Poverty Bay Rugby Union, scathingly criticising the Welsh .Rugby Union tor refusing to recognise the New Zealand Maori team as international find because of that, refusing to accept responsibility for any club games against ihe Maoris, came up for discussion at oe Rugby Union meeting this evening. After a statement by the chairman, that the press cablegram was not intended as a reflection on the Maori race ibo resolution was rescinded and ordered to be expunged from the minute nook.
