AUCKLAND, This Day Unemployment in Auckland is likely to he greatly relieved, in consequence of tho successful outcome of negotiations between the Mayor and Prime Minister. The Government has agreed to find £117,000 ns its share of the cost ot constructing the pi-opined watforfronL roadway to Orakei and lias authorised the- City Council to raise £IOO,OOO for providing relief works for unemployed without taking a poll of ratepayers.
