MAGISTRATE’S COURT
(Before Mr T. Maunsell, ii.M.)
At the Magistrate’s Court this morning Robert Frederick Atkinson, 19, labourer was charged with being drunk on Haven Road at 11.15 last night. Defendant was also charged with using ob-. scene language within healing of persons passing in such place. Henry John Warner; 23, shunter, was also charged with being found drunk at the wharf last evening. He was also charged with using obscene language in a public place. v ' Both defendants 'were arrested by Constable Berthelson ; Atkinson had been previously warned .by the Magistrate. Both defendants were fined 5s for being drunke Atkinson was also fined £5 fbr using obscene language ,and Warner £3. Fourteen days were allowed i which to pay the fine.
