LITTLE BOY’S FOOT INJURED
CAUGHT IN SPOKES OF MOTOR, CYCLE HALF THE FOOT AMPUTATED A serious accident occurred*to a little boy named Oliver Chappell, of P.uponga. yesterday. He was riding ort the hack of a motor cycle behind his brother when one' of his feet, became, entangled in (be spokes of the back wheel. Tite fool was very badly injured and the hoy was brought in to the Nelson I los.tital. where it was found tie-, ccssarv to amputate half the font from the toes towards the. heel. Tin- child is progressing satisfactorily.
