Jan. 20: The Northern Company's steamer Matangi did not sail to-night for Tauranga owing to the seamen and iirenien refusing to take her to sea niiiil a sailor they objected had been dismissed. The sailor who i( is desired should l.e dismissed has been in the service of the Northern Company for a long time, the last three years in .the Matangi.
