STRENGTH OF ALLIED FORCES (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright) (Reuter's Telegrams) PARIS, Jan. 20. According to Le Journal M. Briand replied to the representations of the -German Ambassador, Von Hoesek, in regard to- the strength of allied lord’s in'the Rhineland, stating that there could at present he no question of reducing the strength of the French forces in the Rhineland, and pointing nut that since Ist December last F reti h troops had been reduced by about 20,C00 men, while the Belgians and British had reduced their forces by only one regiment and one battalion respectively.
