DOMINION TOURNAMENT 'Hutted I’ro'js Anaociatioii.l DUNEDIN, Jan. 20 Play continued in the Bowling Tournament., in beautiful weather, with post-section play in tho. rinks, and with, section and green winners’ matches in the pairs. Results: Rinks —First round —David (Tint aru) made a poor show against Thomson (Southland)', and was defeated by 30-11. Harraway (Dunedin) played a close game with Gray (Kelburn), which finished with a- win for Gray by 16-13. Gibson (Taieri) and Dee (Marton) kept together for just half their game,, and then Taieri went away and won 24, to 16. Hutchison (Dunedin) v. Bremner (West End, Auckland) was expected to provide a keen game, but the Dunedin man van away in the early stages, arid won 23 to 17. Wright (St Heliers) met M’Cuvdy (St Kilda). Tlie Nortliern men had all the best of the first part of the game, and won 19 to 18. Stewart (Dunedin) v. Graham (Gore) was close all the way, arid a tie resulted on the extra head. Dunedin scored 3 and won 32-20. Casey (Carlton) v. Malcolm (Balmacevvan). This looked like an easy win for Casey in the early stages, hut Malcolm picked up, and only lost hv 25 to 22. Anderson (Roslyn) played Pilkington (Hamilton). The game was all in favour of Hamilton. Survivors in Pairs.—Mackenzie (Sydenham), Walker (Auckland), Hosking (Carlton), and Redpath (Canterbury) are still surviving, Redpath being among the green winners.
