I lu* installing Master complimented the outgoing ollieers on 1li ( , excellent progress made in all brandies of the work during tins first term of the Tasman Lodge, and he was pleased to note that two members hud earned the Grand Lodge Jewel for making members during the \ear. lie intimated that the Dominion Grand .Master Rro. D. It. Cooper, Auckland, would be paying an oflicial vsit to Nelson during April, or May. The standard of work put on in laxman was a- credit lo imv new lodge. Ilro. Donald McKillop, over 45 years an Oddfellow, conveyed fraternal greetings from Motueka. Ilro. Eustace, Past Vice Grand, of Taumarsnui Lodge, also conveyed greet* . ings. and a very enthusiastic meeting concluded with the usual social round, and harmony. A committee was set up consisting of Bros. ,1. Gardiner, Geo Bradbury. and J. Ingram to organise a Rebekah Lodge (ladies) of the Order in Nelson immediately. Bro. J. Anderson, the outgoing Noble Grand, thanked a! 1 officers and members for the loyalty and co-operation which he had at all times received, and special mention was made by the visiting Brothers for the splendid work which Bro. Chas. McLean had put into the artistic, furnishing of the Lodge during the year.
