LYNCH FAMILY BELLRINGERS
SUCCECSSFUL PERFORMANCE •'
A good audience greeted the Lynch Family of Bellringers .at the Theatre Royal last night, when th e various items of the programme met with a nearly reception. Pelightful numbers were given by the Lynch Family on th e hells, glassophone, and great silver chimes, and all were heartily encored. They well sustained their reputation, showing dexterous manipulation and fine rhythm in the- handling of their instruments. Supporting the J-ynch family was a capable concert company, i ldlle. Bright* Le Marcliant, dramatic soprano, was in excellent voice, and the f’pdienco appreciated to the full her ex- < uisite renderings, particularly Meyer- ) eer's “Aria,” and the' ever-popular Tosti's “Goodbye.” The humour of che evening was supplied by Miss Lilian Thomas, -soubrette and elocutionists, <=nd Mr Harry Baxter, who made a big hit with his comic impersonation, “A Nasty Feeling,” and other exceedingly humorous items. Mr W. 11. Lynch deserves a special word of commendation for his excellent solos and artistic accompaniments at th e piano. To all who appreciate a bright, clean, and clever entertainfnent, the Lynch Family of Bellringers cannot be too highly recommended. A return visit is promised in the near future.
