The Sea Scouts ship, the Sea Seoul, formerly the topsail schooner Annie Mill, has been sold by the Scouts to the Anchor Shipping Company for a price which is a traction of the amount paid to convert her for use as a Sea Scout training ship. Weather permitting she will he lowed by motor boats (join Redcliffs estuary this afternoon and taken around to Lvtteilon. At Lyttleton she will he placed on the slip for inspection and repairs prior to being towed to Nelson, where site will spend the remainder of her days as a coal hulk for the storage of the Anchor Company’s bunker coal. The superintendent engineer of the Company, Mr Brown, ar rives from Wellington this morning to take charge of the vessel. The Sea Scout is a wooden vessel, 123 tons, and was built on the liunii River in 1876. For many years she plied between Australia and Now Zealand. She traded on Die New Zealand coast for a long time and was known as a smart little sailor. During the war, after being idle for some, years, she was bought and loaded for San Francisco. Before loading was completed she commenced to leak badly and the project was abandoned. She was again idle for some years and was then acquired by the Scout authorities. The voyage from Lyttelton to Sumner was made in tow of the lug Lyttelton and the trip across the bar was made without incident.
