Then they had another all night journey, arriving at Sydney this morning. The match was strenuous throughout, the visitors being in tlie Jead till just before the last, whistle when a. free kick put the local team one point ahead. The half time score was New Zealand 15. Cootainundra 10. It had previously been 15 to 2.
Free kicks were a feature of the game. Twenty-eight were awarded the local team against three for New Zealand. The try getters were Kerwin (2), Brown, Webb. Ellis. one each. Mouatt converted ail. Cootamundra's score consisted of four trios, and seven goals. Tiie visitors express strong dissatis faction with the referee’s rulings.
