(To the Editor.) Nr. —With your permission 1 would like to express my disgust at the selection of the A and B it presentativc teams to play on Saturday. 25th July. It if evident that the selector thinks there is only one team in Nelson, ter ill the two teams chi,-sen there are 12 Nelson club players. One of their number is in hospital, which leaves only two of their players not chosen. Rivals, the premier team who won the cup, undoubtedly Hi rough their forwards, can oniv get one man in the A pack and one emergency, also one back and one sitler that Neiman. Baldwin and loon emergency. On this years play I consider that. Neiman, Baldwin, and Toon should be in the A pack. and that Hinvar (Rivals), Cress and Thompson (Waimca) should be in t.lie. B forwards. Of the backs, it appears to me thatWnolfe has got the wrong jersey on. If Nelson is to win the Redden Shield tin selection will have to be drastically altered, for the public will not support a team that not- composed of the- best players.
