There was a good demand, l’rices opened sixpence to a shilling up anil closed at an average advance of two shillings. Beef 48 -, 48/6j mutton 48:6, 49/3. SYDNEY, July 16. There is no busines in the wheat market. Quotastions are unchanged at 5s Til for farmers' lots and 6s to 6s 2d for parcels. Oats, Tasmanian and -Algerian, 3s Oil ; white 4s 6d to 4s 8d ; maize,’yellow, 4s lOil ; white 4s 8d ; potatoes, Tasmanian £l6; onions, Victorian £24. ADELAIDE, July 16. Wheat, growers lots 5s 7j,d to 5s 8d ; oats 2s to 2s 3d. MELBOURNE, July 16. The hides sales were animated. Lights were firmer and others steady.
