WELLINGTON TRAMS
REDUCED FARES TO MEET BUS COMPETITION (United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The effect of the newly introduced motor Ims competition is a ' reduction from to-day in all tram sections over 2d to 3d for the whole distance. It is estimated that this will mean a decrease of £ISOOO yearly in revenue, but will go some way to remove the disinclination to live in distant suburbs and make property there more valuable.
