agents; ADVICES Messrs E. Buxton and Co., Ltd., advise having received the following cablegram from their London agents, Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Elder Ltd., under date 15th inst. :—“Merino Regular competition. Greasy merino best descriptions highest point barely maintained. Merino, other descriptions declined o pet cent. Crossbred greasy declined 5 per cent. Medium, coarse, best descriptions, market shows no material change. Other descriptions market irregular par, to 5 per cent decline. Crossbred scoured -and crossbred slipe market shows hardening tendency.’ RICHMOND SALES The N.Z. Farmers’ Uo-op. Asm. of Canterbury, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at the above yards, when there was a large entry of cattle. There was not any competition at auction, hut Jhe hulk of the entry changed hands after the sale. The following is a range of prices :—2 and t tooth wethers, 30s; 4 and 6 tooth wethers 325; cull hoggets 15s. Cattle.—4 and 5 year bullocks £4 10s to £7 10s; empty cows £4 2s 6d; do heifers £6 15s.
Horses.—s aged geldings £l4 to £2l; 1 aged mare £l7. These were a sixhorse wagon team straight out of solid work. i
