WEDDING
SCHRODER—RADFORD
A very pretty wedding took place at the First Church, Tahuimnui, on June 10th, when Nellie Winifred 1!- Radford, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. T. Radford, of Tahunanui, and Arthur George Schroder, of Carluke, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony by the Rev. J. McNeill. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father looking well in a charming frock of white satin morocai.n trimmed with lace and pearls, ller veil wits held in place with a coronet of orange, blossoms and silver leaves, and she carried a boquet of chrysanthemum and roses. The bride's sister. Miss Lily .Radford, wore a pretty frock of maize silk moracuin, black picture hat trimmed with tool ami a bouquet and streamers to match. The bride's mother wore a silver grey moroeain and hat to match, carrying a bouquet of deep pink chrysanthemums and tulle streamers. The bridegroom was accompanied by Mr A If. iicaufield as best man. Mr ,T. R. Smith, of Nelson, kindly presided at the organ. A reception was held later at the residence of the bride’s parents. when about- 30 friends amt relations sat d own to a sumptuous breakfast. During the evening the happy couple left by ear eti route to Christchurch and Knikoura. where the honeymoon will he spent.
