CLAIM FOR 44 HOUR WEEK REFUSED

BRISBANE, This Day. Mr Justice Webb,, in the Arbitration Court, refused the building trade employers a working week of 40 hours. The claim was based on the fact tlfat the statutory working week was recently reduced bv four hours and the union asked that it should be granted the same benefit a:; other workers.
