LONDON, July 14
Lloyd’s Register shows the total tonnage of shipping under construction in the world at 30th June was 2,370,000, of which 1,129,000 comprised motor ships. British vaids were building 1,094,000 tons, which was 72,000 below the total fov the previous quarter, while tho rest of the world was 45,000 tons higher, with 1,276,000 tons.
