FLOODS IN VICTORIA

.MELBOURNE. July 13.
Rain is falling with cyclonic intensity over the whole of North Gippsland. The Tambo, Alitchell, and Snowy .Rivers tiave, biukeu their banks, inundating nrles of country. The town of Orliost is isolated, butresidents were warned by wireless of the approach of the flood waters and removed from tin; low-Iving districts. Railway services are disorganised. So far no casualties have been reported, although there were many thrilling rescues. A fishing party, consisting of three men. left the Lakes entrance lor Alnllaeoota in a ketch and have not since been heard of.
