The Polish Government presented a note to the Soviet .Minister strongly protesting against the kidnapping of a Polish lieutenant, and demanding that he immediately be conveyed to the frontier and established a commission of enquiry into the case. The Foreign Ministry also verbally protested against the alleged murder of a Polish frontier corporal by Russians on 18th June, suggesting a joint commission of enquiry and demanding indemnity for the victim’s family.
