MORE SdEAMERS LAID UP

SYDNEY, July 11.

The latest move in the shipping trouble is the tying up of the Howard Smith steamer Kadowa. The crew was paid off. Three Adelaide Company’s steamers, the Barunga, Baldina and tlie Dundala were placed on the idle list. The company decided not to put them into commission after overhaul owing to the uncertainty of the position. SYDNEY, July 12. The shipping trouble will take oil a more acute phase to-morrow, when it is understood that men employed on all coastal steamers will give notice. The Seamen’s Union will not fill their places and vessels will be idled.
