Mr A. C. Fiver, n well-known Christchurch solicitor died in the Lewisham Hospital on Saturday, following upon a brief hut severe attack of pneumonia, telegraphs The Mail’s Chi istehurch correspondent to-day. Mr Fryer was for a number of years connected with the firm of Izard, Loughnan and Fryer, but two years or so ago, he went into business on his ovn account. Mr Fr\er was of a retiring disposition, but his cheery personality made him very popular with the members of Lis profession. He was it brother of Mr Ft C. Fryer, the well-known Canterbury and New Zealand footballer of a few years back
