HOWLING GALE

Fierce driving rain arid a howling gale swept the city yesterday as a cul-’ urination of the cold wet weather that had been experienced during most of the past fortnight. Cargo operations were disorganised on the waterfront and smaller vessels retained the shelter of the port. No damage from the storm has yet been reported. The weather to-day promises to he finer.
