MEETING A DEFICIT

BERLIN, April 30., Germany’s net budgetary surplus last vear was .334,000,000 marks. The Finance Minister, Von Schlieben, in his Budget speech in the Reichstag, Neefcimated next year’s expenditure at 4,900,000,000 marks and revenue fit 4,652,000,000. He proposed an increase of beer and tobacco excise to meet the deficit.
