(Reuter's Telegrams.; LONDON, March 5. After die prosecution closed in the Hobbs case, the Judge overruled the defence’s contention that Sir Mari Singh’s presence was necessary to sustain count of conspiracy to client and defraud. The judge ruled there was no evidence to go to the jury to support the charges of conspiracy to steal or receiving in this country property stolen abroad, bill there was evidence for the jury on the charge ‘of conspiring in this country to cheat and defraud t?ir Man Singh.
