TWO NEW BOATS PURCHASED FOR GENERAL CARGO TRADE The Anchor Company have purchased from Messrs Reese Bros., of Christchurch the cargo : steamers Orepuki (531 gross tonnage) and Opua (575 gross tonnage). These vessels have been engaged for some years in general trading between Lyttelton, Wellington, Westport and Greymouth, and also in the carriage of coal to the Cement Works at Tarakohe and the freighting of cement therefrom. Tlio Orepuki and Opua will be run in the general trade of the Anchor Company, which will now also include the trade in which they were formerly engaged.
