TERRITORIAL CAMPS
Attention is drawn to a preliminary notice appealing in the advertising columns relating to the annual Territorial Camps. The Officer-in-Cliarge of the Nelson Defence Office has stated that in order to encourage the Mounted Rifles it has been decided to hold the camp of the local Squadron at Tapawera, and not to send them to Marlborough this year, and it is hoped that every assistance will be given to the men from tho Waimeas and Motueka Valley to take horses to camp. Owners can be assured that their horses will be well cared for, as proper animal management will be a feature of the camp.
