THE CHURCHES
At St. John’s Methodist Church, the Rev. H. L. piamires will take as the morning subject “Righteous Overmuch, At 6.30 p.m. the service will- be conducted by Mr G. Cyril Burton, the Dominion. Young Men’s Bible Class Secretary. Come and hear his message. The services at Trinity Presbyterian Church to-morrow, will bo conducted bv the Rev. S. Robertson Orr (of Wellington). Morning subject: “Traffic with the Unseen World.” Evening subject, “Making a Good Finish.” Anthem : “O Worship the Lord.” Tahura Service at 2.30 p.m. will be conducted by Mr Gardiner, late of Belfast. The, services at the Baptist Church to-morrow will be conducted in the. morning by Mr T. Vereoe, whose subject will be “An Invitation for 1925.” In the evening the Rev. C. S. Matthews, of Ashburton, will speak, taking for his subject, “A quest for souls and what it would mean to Nelson.” A Communion service -will he held at the close of the evening service. Sunday school will be open as usual in the afternoon.
