LONDON", Dec. 28. At a meeting of farmers in Worcester, a farmer asked Mr Rylunds, president of the Farmers’ Union, whether the proposed grant of a million to the Dominions tor improved marketing would not bo harmful to British agriculturel. He replied that it would be monstrously unfair if the State, being unwilling to help British farmers, was going to help people overseas to beat down British prices. It would be tho union’s duty to see that British agriculture did not suffer under the scheme. The Daily Mails Riga correspondent stated that African negro delegates are touring Russia under Soviet guides, in the same wav as the British trade 'unionists. _ These “Black Reds” are travelling in the special saloon carriage in which the British delegates journeyed. Negroes tire seldom seen in Russia, and the party is attracting great crowds. The delegates declare that the Communists in South Africa intend to free tho enslaved blacks from the British yoko.
BUCHAREST, Dec. 28. Following arrests made last week, the police nave captured documents showing the existence of three organisations supported by Soviet money, and complete proofs of their relations with similar organisations in Moscow, Vienna, Berlin, Sofia, and Athens. Of the 430 iconic arrested, 230 are being held for rial, and the other 200 are being deported .
CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 28. The Green Crescent Society, undertaking a temperance campaign, reports that the passion for drink is growing among young cultivated Turkish women, due to a false conception of civilisation and society life. The society advocates' outdoor games as a substitute.
