Mr T. HeWetson, Upper Moutere, has been appointed to the Soldiers’ Revaluation Committee, states a Press Association telegram. Cable advice has been received ill Wellington to-day announcing the death, ill London of Mrs Esther Mandel, widow of the late Joseph Mandel, well-known in Dunedin, Christchurch- and Wellington.. She was born in Wales and lived in New Zealand for 47 years. It is understood she will be buried in New Zealand.—Press Association.
