LONDON, Aug. 14
Viscountess Novar launched at Clydebank the second Orient 20,000 ton liner Cron say. At the luncheon following, Sir Charles Ellis, managing director of the John Brown Company, said it was proud of its association with the Orient Company in producing the most perfect type of vessel. She has been designed for the Australian trade. Sir Kenneth Anderson claimed that the Orient Company by adding three steamers to the trade had given proof of faith in Australia.
