REDUCTION IN CABLE RATES

SYDNEY, August 15.
With reference to the cable rates a portion of the proposed reduction represented zy the Government abandoning a proportion of the terminal charge of fivepence per word upon private 'messages, not fivepence per hundred words press, as previously cabled.
