Defendant said ho had practised medicine for 28 years.. After an examination he told tlie plaintiff it was mastitis and not cancer, from which she was suffex-ing. Ho said he bad reasonable hope of curing her without an operation. He put her under the Abrams treatment and as a result the right breast improved and trouble in the left breast became more or less stationary. After five weeks’ treatment she left him without indicating such intention, but had further treatment in October and March. He had not told her she was cured in September 1923. He advised an operation in hospital. Plaintiff paid him £3l and owed him £l4 for treatment,
