BETTER SALARIES WANTED
Addressing a meeting of sciiool teachers, Professor Goddard, lecturer on biology at the Queensland University, said the other day that a very large percentage of the 'medical students were not adapted to that profession. Queensland and Australia should give better salaries to pathologists, entomqlogists, agricultural chemists, and others, who could aid primary industries. A salary of £6OO a year was no inducement, he said.
