Reports state that, caught a lew days ago in a- desert sand s'mm, two Royal Air Force officers, Flight-J eeut. Day and pilot officer otewart. were forced to land eighteen milt..? south of the BasraNasiriyeh railway line. The machine Las since been found, but search failed to trace the officers, who it is feared perished in endeavouring to reach the railway.
