CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES AT WELLINGTON /. LINKING UP SERVICES Tho largest and most representative conference ot delegates of motor transport services of the Dominion was held in Wellington on Wednesday, says the New Zealand Times. Gibson (New Plymouth-Wanganui Service), Messrs Smith and Ashton (New Plymou th-Awakino service), Messrs T. J. Newman (Newman Bros., Ltd., Nelson), and Messrs J. E. Winsloe, Claude Haigli, and Captain M. B. MacDonald, representing Tours, New Zealand. The scenic and tourist resorts of the Dominion were discussed generally, and the importance of attracting overseas tourists to New Zealand was emphasised by tho meeting. The internal organisation for the purpose of handling largo, parties of tourists was established, and it was decided to link up their respective services for continuity of tourist transport throughout the Dominion in conjunction with the New Zealand railways.
