Tho Progress League advertises in this issue inviting suggestions or information likely to he of use to tho executive in furthering Nelsons claims ioi the completion of tho railway to the West Coast and Canterbury. The executive are anxious to have all information likely to bo the slightest use at their disposal. Prom the great interest taken by the general public in this important matter one would imagine that there would be plenty of useful suggestions forthcoming, but we are informed that the previous advertisement elicited only one response.
