WHEN WILL BRITAIN QUIT? (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Australian and N.Z. Cable Aseeciariou LONDON, July 30. In the House of Commons, in a debate on Mesopotamia, Mr Thomas said Britain was committed by the late Government to quit in four years, but no one speaking for the present Government could give a guarantee, as something might happen to alter the situation before the end of that period. It is the Government’s intention to get out, but we want- to get out with honour.
