MAN MURDERS WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN

The mysterious absence of the wife and three children of a miller named Socundino led the father-in-law to seek his daughter at her home at Santa Martliax. The husband at first persisted that they were on holiday, but, later he coolly confessed that he Imd murdered the quartette, and tied heavy stones to the bodies, which were sunk in a mill pond.
