Mathews, 22 years of age, a porter, when engaged'in shunting operations in (lie railway station yard jumped from Iho cowcatcher of the engine on which he was riding and was run over by a truck which was being shunted on to an adjoining line. Mathews’s both legs were almost severed about the knee. He was taken to hospital, where bqth legs were amputated.
