Market is steady. “Mutton.—N.Z. prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy o|d, light 7d , North Island, heavy 6 l-Bd, light 62d. Poor demand for New Zealand mutton. Market very dull. “Beef.—New Zealand beef is not quoted. “Australian frozen meat not quoted.” DAIRY PRODUCE _ “Butter.—Market is firm. We quote N.Z. salted 1.74 s (168 s) N.Z. exceptional brands 176 s (1725), Danish 183 s (JB2s); finest Australian salted 166 s (160 s), unsnlted 170 s (1665). ’“Cheese.—Market is firm. Quotation for N.Z. white 90s; (87s), coloured f9s (86s), Canadian e.i.f. quotation 90s (87s j.” Last week’s quotations giyen in parentheses. BUTTER AND CHEESE (United Press Association.) Cheese firm; New Zealand, white and coloured, 92/- to 94/-; Canadian, 86/to 88/-; Australian 84/-.
